Abstract:
The ergonomic performance chamber improves audio production efficiency for recording vocals or other sound sources with a microphone. The basic embodiment features an openable, lightweight, easily portative, molded flexible plastic, elemental structure , that surrounds only the microphone, and includes, a top portion, a bottom portion, an outer surface , a plurality of abutting surfaces , an audio source opening collar , an audio source opening , a microphone attachment collar , a microphone opening , an acoustically controlled air space , an inner chamber surface , a chamber body , and a plurality of insert slots. Acoustic inserts are used to modify the quality of sound in the acoustically controlled air space. A desktop support is used for desktop installation. The present invention combines acoustic control and ergonomics to facilitate production workflow and meet the needs for a wide variety of performers.
