Here is a list of my primary skills: -Six Sigma green belt, no opportunity to study under black belt yet. -MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook including Visual Basic. I have written code in other languages as well; essentially they are the same except for the syntax. -Lotus Notes - email, address book, and organizer and have also created and administered multiple databases here as well. -AutoCAD and SmartSketch, another lesser known CAD software. -Aretics T7 - maintenance work order and supply inventory software. -M3 (Movex) - this is the software used to create a complete production financial structure including raw material costs, overhead, efficiency, waste, shipping, inventory, etc -Qlikview - this is powerful software that allows you to create your own reporting populating data from other software. -Minitab - statistical analysis software. -WinSPC - live, online statistical process control, administrator. -FSC Certification Expert - I brought Swedwood online to be FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council, a wood traceability certification from forest to customer) certified from scratch. -CONNECT - this is an internal IKEA software that keeps track of all aspects of all raw materials used and products produced in production and the testing, declarations, and traceability, according to the customer's (IKEA, our only customer) requirements. I created and administered this from scratch at Swedwood and actually ended up teaching some folks at IKEA, who were initially responsible for teaching me, how to use the software. This is very detailed, meticulous, and complex software; information here is what would be used in a court of law if there were some sort of serious chemical or mechanical liability lawsuit brought against IKEA for a faulty product causing harm to the end customer. -DWP - this is IKEA's transport information software. It includes weight and dimension information as well as all of the packaging material used for recycling purposes. It is in direct link to the financial structure (M3), logistics software, and the label generation software that the end customer sees in stores. This software is not so complex but it's interaction with other software must be precise. -SUPPLIER - this is IKEA's complete product specification database. Huge, all encompassing source of information, that can be difficult to navigate due to it's size alone, that tells us many things including the blueprints of all aspects of the product ranges, technical specifications, testing, material, process, etc...requirements. AutoCAD, MSOffice tools (including VisualBasic and other code languages), WinSPC, and CONNECT (although I became the teacher, at times, in class) are the only software listed above for which I received formal training. I am a quick, independent learner, have a photographic memory, things like that. I also have the ability to not only get along but socialize with anyone. I am empathetic and an excellent teacher due to my affability and ability to read others so well. I can diffuse hostile situations. Whoever it is who ends up employing me will be sure to benefit greatly. It is also worth mentioning that I am the primary contact with the IKEA North American Trading Office trading representatives (there is a logistics side as well that I do not deal with). This how our customer has evolved it's way of doing business with us. I think that speaks volumes!
