John graduated, cum laude, from Colby College in 1985. He was awarded with Distinction in the Major of the Classics, and had a minor in French. After obtaining his J.D. from the George Washington School of Law in 1988 John entered into the private practice of law. A litigator, John concentrated on probate law and criminal defense.
