Philosophy:
For Dr. Fonmin, the reward of being a physician is being able to relieve suffering and save lives. He feels that when his patients' health is improving and he sees them smile again.. there's nothing more satisfying. It was his interest in science and art of healing that lead Dr. Fonmin into choosing medicine as his life's work. He feels medicine seemed like the natural combination of what he enjoyed and valued most:science and being able to serve others and having a meaningful impact on their lives. During the past twenty years, he has been a family physician and pediatrician, and his expectations have been more than fulfilled. Dr. Fonmin is an active staff member of St. Jude Medical Center, where he has the confidence that his patients will receive excellent care and a comprehensive range of services. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
