John has been a licensed real estate broker, and appraiser, for over 47 years. Licensed in the State of New York, as well as Florida, he is the founder/owner of Bouck Real Estate. While Bouck Real Estate is a leading residential sales office in the area, John specializes in commercial and industrial properties. He has been responsible for the sale of numerous motel properties (including 2 Days Inns), as well as the sale or management of virtually every larger office building in the City of Auburn. The office currently has commercial property listed in other states, including Massachusetts and Florida, as well as the Bahamas, and Turks and Caicos Islands.<br /> <br />John is a 3 time past president of the Cayuga County Association of Realtors, served on numerous committees for the real estate association, past president and current director of East Hill Family Medical, former town justice, former director of the United Way of Cayuga County, as well as the Auburn-Cayuga Chamber of Commerce, and former director of the Auburn Downtown Business Improvement District (B.I.D.). He formerly taught the real estate brokers, and salesperson, licensing courses at Cayuga Community College, as adjunct professor, and has authored a booklet, "Simplified Guide to Valuing Real Estate", as well as a handbook, "Guide to Opening Your Own Business."<br /> <br />The firm presently manages a number of commercial and residental properties throughout Upstate New York including strip shopping centers.<br /> <br />John is a licensed commercial pilot, as well as being an F. A. A. certified flight instructor. He owns and personally flies the company aircraft throughout the northeast, and east coast, for business.<br /> <br />John is also qualified as an expert witness, in real estate evaluations, in N.Y. State Supreme Court, U. S. Federal District Court, N. Y. State Court of Claims, and U. S. Federal Bankruptcy Court.
