Philosophy:
I went into medicine to take care of patients who might not otherwise receive care, and I feel lucky to have the privilege of caring for patients. Whether I am present at a delivery or visiting an elderly patient at his home, it is deeply satisfying work. I also enjoy working with community groups to improve access and coordinated care for uninsured patients who are most in need. It is very rewarding to work with FMSW resident physicians, both teaching them and learning from them.
