MCPUD, Urban Design and City PlanningI took a leave of absence from Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Chicago to enter my Urban Design Program at Harvard. In my second year at Harvard, I worked with Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Boston on a select team of 100 interdisciplinary design professionals called BTPR (Boston Transportation Planning Review) to complete a year long study for alternative transportation options for the Boston area under the direction of then Governor Sargent (also an architect) who created a moritorium on highway construction during that period. Out of this study, came many Boston area projects which included the "Big Dig" presently nearing completion. After completing my program at Harvard, I worked with Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in San Francisco.
