Software Knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Origin, plus Networking experience, and other proprietary programs Programming Experience, Assembly Language, C/C++, National Instruments LabVIEW Architecture: GPIB, Visa,RS232, RS485, IC2. Write, troubleshoot, and maintain LabVIEW software to test the PCBs, components, or tools in a controlled environment. Collect data, complete data analysis using excel or origin, write complete reports and test procedures for manufacturing and in the field. Electronic Hardware: Complete knowledge of Oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, mechanical drawings and Schematics, multi-meters, and calipers, power tools, and hand tools. Experience working on structural parts: electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and operating cranes, tugs, trucks, de-icing equipment, and occasionally forklifts. Professional electronic panel assembly including BNC connectors, switches, LEDs, variac potentiometers. Test, repair, and troubleshoot PCB/panel for functionality on bench, as well as heat test under harsh conditions, up to 200C or equivalent, for environmental stress and quality control. Avionics and Optics: Visible and Near-infrared LED and laser experience 500 nm - 2500 nm testing sources and detectors/receivers. Project planning skills, Assisted with program development to test analog/digital circuitry and perform tests of continuity, resistance, insulation, breakdown, impedance, voltage level, current, frequency, etc., to determine fault isolation. Interface with Electronic, Mechanical, and Software Engineers to design, and maintain structural assemblies including hydraulic Cable assembly up to 55-pin to 55-pin. Soldering: Populate/solder PCBs using assembly drawings, bill of materials, and schematics. Expert Soldering PTH (Through-hole) & SMT (surface mount), High/Low Temperature (SN96, SN10, SN63, GOLD experience), with microscope soldering of ICs, and BGAs, as well as experience using X-Ray machines for integrity verification.
