Hi<br/>I'm Jim Morrison and I'm the owner of Home Authority of Massachusetts home inspections. I was an engineering major in college and I have been in construction related work since I was a boy growing up as the son of a home improvement contractor, working in the family business. I started out helping my dad, and after college eventually worked as a consultant to architects and engineers, and represented manufacturers of construction materials. Later, I founded 2 construction companies and successfully completed hundreds of projects over the years working in the highly demanding New York City, northern New Jersey marketplace. <br/>Eventually I wanted to do "something different" and moved to New England in 1997. My better half Jane and I live in Marshfield, MA and we have been very happy here raising 4 golden retreivers we rescued from shelters. For the past 5 years I've been a licensed home inspector in Massachusetts, and serve about a 75 mile radius from Marshfield. I work as far north as New Hampshire, and as far south as the Rhode Island line, and everywhere in between. I take a low key, calm approach to inspections and I am particulary good with less experienced buyers, having the patience to answer all their questions. I give buyers all the time they need.
