Description:
Career:
I started in the real estate business in 2001 as a loan officer. My wife Monique got her real estate sales license in 2002. As a team we would help our clients with their financing and their home purchases and sales. In 2003 Monique got her mortgage license and in 2004 I got my real estate sales license. In 2005 Monique and I started our own mortgage company called Zeal Mortgage. We had that company until May of 2008 when we sadly closed our doors due to the new changes in the lending industry that made it difficult for small mortgage companies to compete with the larger ones. In 2007 we opened Market Source Real Estate. We specialize in the Sugar House and surrounding areas. A majority of our clients are first time home buyers, and clients that are "moving up" from their starter homes. We no longer have our mortgage licenses but the experience of owning a mortgage company helps us help our clients understand the mortgage process better. We know how to help our clients find the best possible loan available and the best program that fits their situation.

Personal:
My wife and I met in high school and got married during college. We are both graduates of the University of Utah. While at the University I was on the swim team. We have 3 kids, twin boys who are 4 and 7 year old girl. Currently I am training for my first 5K open water swim (3.2 mile lake swim) and I hope to complete my first Iron Man race next summer. When I am not working I am usually running, swimming, cycling, or spending time fishing with the kids or playing at Liberty park. My wife and I have bought and sold 15 houses of our own since 2001. We have lived in Sugar House, Olympus Cove, and Cottonwood Heights. We have lived in homes that ranged from 1,800 square feet to 4,500 square feet. With the large ranges of size and type of homes it helps us find the right home for every buyer.

Here is what a few of my clients have to say about me:

"I would like to thank you for all your hard work in selling my home. In a difficult market like we are experiencing now, it is a breath of fresh air that you were still able to sell my house for a good price and get it under contract in less than 30 days. I also appreciate your insight as far as what helps to make a house sell. With those few important tips, it seemed to make all the difference giving me an edge up on our competition. That kind of service and delivery is exactly what I needed in time like this. Again, thank you - I will recommend your services to all my friends and family."

Sincerely,

Matthew S, Salt Lake City - 9th & 9th

"I went into the home buying stages of my life with a bit of skepticism. Real Estate agents are a funnel for information. They have it and slowly allow you to get it. It's an annoying process that I wasn't looking forward to.

But Jeremy Higginson is not that type of real estate agent. The Market Source website is very over the top informational. It was so easy to look and get the information that I wanted from every property that I became addicted to the website from the moment Jeremy gave me the link to look around and see what was there.

Once I found what I was looking for Jeremy pretty much made things happen. Fitting the cost I could afford with the area's that I was targeting, Jeremy found the hidden places that I liked. Jeremy is not a junior real estate agent. He is a veteran that knows his way in and out of the contract process for getting the house you want.

I spent roughly a month working with him going in and out of houses, dealing with mortgage agents, and finally with closing. He went above and beyond what I expected and I would gladly, without a doubt, recommend him as my agent again. "

Russel H.

Holladay, UT
