My therapeutic style is primarily cognitive-behavioral focusing on behavior change and turning one's negative, dysfunctional thoughts into more positive, functional ones. I also have training and therapy experience working with alcohol, codependency, substance abuse and other addictions. Naturally, I encourage the 12 step approach/philosophy, but with my years of experience in this field, I recognize that one size doesn't fit all, and will work to collaborate/customize a program that makes clinical and emotional sense for the client.
