Patient care philosphy is rooted in the tradition of trying to provide compassion and care with the latest technology and knowledge. Trying to "do the right thing" and not always the most expedient thing is paramount. Every attempt is made to listen to the patient and insure that questions are answered and the plan for treatment agreed upon. I am generally slow to recommend surgery on elective procedures and try all manner of conservative treatment first. I appreciate that a patient has chosen me to provide their care and try to honor that choice by doing the best I can and getting the best possible outcome.
