Jean M. Price, President, and Principal Broker was born near Manchester, England, where she grew up. A graduate of the Royal Society of Arts and Letters, she emigrated to New York City in 1967 with her husband, Chris, when he was appointed Editorial Manager of the New York office of an international scientific publishing house. <br />Jean obtained her real estate license in 1968, after moving to Westchester County, NY. She quickly became a star in the Brewster, NY area, with a reputation for selling at least one house every week. She moved to Chatham, NY in 1972, and continued her real estate career, while raising her two children, Cameron, and Fiona. <br />In 1985, Jean joined the firm of Arthur Lee of Red Rock, Inc., under the patronage of George S. Lee, son of the founder. She quickly became a top producer in Columbia County, a distinction she still enjoys today. When George Lee retired in 1998, he sold Jean the business, since he believed she had the dedication and integrity necessary to continue its long tradition of excellence. <br />Jean’s strong business leadership has enabled the firm to prosper, and grow, but public relations and sales remains her first love. Over the years, she has developed friendships with many of her past clients, and customers. This remarkable group includes a former Lieutenant Governor of the State of New York, distinguished attorneys, famous performers, talented artists, top educators, and high achievers in many walks of life, but Jean is equally at home with just plain folk. <br />The Legal Profession recognizes Jean's expertise in her chosen field, and has called her as an Expert Witness in connection with Real Estate litigation. A skillful negotiator, and an expert at analyzing what people say they are looking for, Jean has the uncanny ability to discern what will satisfy that need, often before customers realize it themselves. For her, real estate is a calling, not merely a job. Her sensitivity, and dedication to her customers is a guarantee their real estate search will be enjoyable in every possible way.
