Integrated Treatment Planning And Scheduling System

US Patent:
2006017, Aug 3, 2006
Filed:
Sep 28, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/237298
Inventors:
Michele Abraham - Martinez CA, US
Jean Anderson - Phoenixville PA, US
Zhanghui Fang - Chester Springs PA, US
Loretta Fitzgerald - Collegeville PA, US
International Classification:
G05B 19/418, G06Q 10/00
US Classification:
705008000, 705002000
Abstract:
A system maps components of prescribed treatments to multiple appointments of a patient, tracks patient progress through a course of treatment by recording results of treatment in a clinical information system and replaces multiple manual processes to improve concurrent monitoring of a treatment plan versus actual results. A system schedules multiple appointments for a course of patient treatment. The system uses an input processor for receiving data identifying, a treatment type, a frequency of application of the treatment, a start date of the treatment and a number of applications of the treatment. An appointment processor determines validity of the received data and uses the validated received data to generate data representing a schedule of multiple appointments for receiving the treatment. An interface processor provides data representing the schedule of multiple appointments to a destination system.

System And User Interface For Providing Patient Status And Care Setting Information

US Patent:
2006017, Aug 10, 2006
Filed:
Dec 13, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/301922
Inventors:
Iqbal Syed - Orinda CA, US
Jean Anderson - Phoenixville PA, US
International Classification:
G06F 19/00, G06F 7/00, G06F 3/00
US Classification:
705003000, 707102000, 715762000
Abstract:
A system incorporates inpatient and outpatient clinical status information in a display image using layout and graphic symbols to graphically indicate a change in patient care setting and change in a level of care required for the patient. A system for providing patient status and care setting information to a healthcare worker includes a repository incorporating data representing multiple different graphical symbols associated with corresponding different transitions in patient care setting. An acquisition processor acquires data indicating clinical status of a particular patient in a care setting following a transition in care setting. A display processor initiates generation of data representing at least one display image incorporating the data indicating clinical status of the particular patient in the care setting following the transition in care setting and an associated graphical symbol derived from the repository identifying a type of the transition in care setting.

System And User Interface For Presenting Treatment Information

US Patent:
2006008, Apr 20, 2006
Filed:
May 3, 2005
Appl. No.:
11/120764
Inventors:
Jean Anderson - Phoenixville PA, US
Loretta Fitzgerald - Collegeville PA, US
International Classification:
G06Q 10/00
US Classification:
705002000
Abstract:
A workflow system and user interface coordinates information concerning a course of treatment of a patient, as well as data from a treatment device and links appointment data from a scheduling system with actual treatment activity information in order to show a complete timeline of a course of treatment. A user interface system for presenting medication dosage and treatment information includes a display processor for providing data representing a single display image. The single display image presents information identifying treatment received by a patient and treatment scheduled to be received by the patient together with a timeline. The single display image also presents information identifying cumulative dosage of a medication received by a patient and an associated date the cumulative dosage is received by the patient. A command processor initiates presentation of the single display image in response to user command.
