Philosophy:
National Pain Centers was founded with the belief that all medical services, specifically pain management services, should be delivered with the highest quality standard of care available. Dr. Joshi, the medical director, is double-board certified, lectures at a national level, has had numerous publications, and was trained at one of the busiest interventional pain fellowship programs.
Currently, the vast majority of "pain management" practitioners cannot claim those qualifications. In fact, the majority of "pain management" practitioners have not even completed accredited fellowships. This is important because without proper training, there is no proof of one's knowledgeable, experience and proficiency in one's field. Even when a practitioner has passed medical school, completed an anesthesiology residency, completed an accredited interventional pain fellowship, and has passed all their board examination, they still fall under the standard bell curve, where some are exceptional, some are above average, some are average, some are below average, and some are dangerous.
We strongly believe that the key to a successful patient outcome is a physician who has a strong education, solid skills, and unwavering ethics. We also believe that patients should be treated with the quality and respect that we would want to be treated. We strongly recommend that you do your homework when finding a new physician in any specialty.
