Hello, and thank you for visiting this website. My name is Dr. Jason Waterman, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a certified substance abuse counselor. The painful path that eventually led to my transformation and my career has become both my passion and my calling. I work with teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral and humanistic therapies to approach treatment issues. I also draw from various other psychological approaches, and I welcome the opportunity to integrate spiritual, existential, and 12-step principles into the counseling environment as well, but only if these approaches relate to you and help address your issues. I have been licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002, and I am a member of several professional associations, including past board member of the SGV chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
