Writing - I write fiction (fantasy, thrillers, and science fiction) as well as copywriting for websites and print ads, and doing journalism. Check out my website, jwriter.com for examples of my novels, short stories, and poetry. Boxing and MMA - I have been an amateur boxer for three years and regularly compete. I trained in MMA for a year. Other Interests - Video Games, Hip-Hop, Rock, Dubstep, Electronic, Orchestral, Poetry, Reading (My favorite authors are R.A. Salvatore, Orson Scott Card, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Harlan Coben, and Lawrence Block).

I was nominated twice for the Student Employee of the Year Award at the University of the Arts. I was the Student Employee of the Year of the Academic Computing department at the University of the Arts. I received the Jean Baker Memorial Award for Excellence in Writing. I got second place in the Philadelphia region Mid-Atlantic Boxing Tournament.
