As an Interventional Radiologist, I perform various cancer therapies (radioembolization, chemoembolization, and percutaneous ablation to treat liver and kidney tumors), uterine fibroid embolization, vascular access, angioplasty/stenting, laser ablation of varicose veins, and treatment of massive deep venous thrombosis. I believe it is critical to develop specific treatment plans tailored to the individual patient and to spend adequate time discussing this with my patients.
