A graduate of the Christian Brothers Catholic Memorial High School where he was president of the National Honor Society, he attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in economics with a concentration in business administration. Jared furthered his graduate studies at the Insurance Institute at Northeastern University where he achieved the designation as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) as well as an Associates Degree in Risk Management (ARM).
