Philosophy:
If you have never been seen by a chiropractor or an acupuncturist, you may have some questions or even a few reservations about what you might experience. If you've had chiropractic or acupuncture in the past, we may be a little different from what you expect.
Your initial visit will last approximately one hour, during which you will work exclusively with your own personal doctor. We will carefully evaluate your current complaint, your past medical history, and your current lifestyle. You will receive a thorough orthopedic and neurologic examination. Treatment may involve chiropractic manipulative therapy, soft tissue work or neuromuscular therapy, and joint mobilization. We utilize only gentle, low-force adjusting procedures. At no time will your neck or back be twisted or forcibly "popped." Your doctor will answer all of your questions about your condition, and make recommendations related to particular activities during your rehabilitation.
