Presented to RS&H, Inc. for Colorado Springs Airport Taxiways E, G, & H Reconstruction - Phase III at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rated the best Portland Cement Concrete Commercial Service& Military Airports. I was one of the RPRs (Resident Project Representative) along with Thomas Valentine, Jr.
Best Engineering Project

Project consisted of an automated delivery system for newspapers, consisting of a pneumatic-powered launcher mounted to a vehicle. Integrated the existing vehicle's turning belt system to drive an old compressor salvaged from a junkyard for a 1970s Dodge Dart. Designed and built a specific part to attach to the belt by utilizing a 3D drafting program Solidworks and the University of Colorado's CNC machines to construct the part. The clutch for the compressor could be engaged with the flip of a switch, filling the PVC chamber with the appropriate pressure allowing for the optimal jettison of newspapers.
