Filed:
Apr 17, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/839934
Inventors:
Walter Guy Scott - North Palm Beach FL
James E. Davis - Palm Beach Gardens FL
Ellis Betensky - Toronto, CA
Assignee:
Cross Match Technologies, Inc. - West Palm Beach FL
International Classification:
G06K 900
US Classification:
382124
Abstract:
A portable fingerprint recognition transmitter that is compact, being less than the size of a cigarette pack, allowing the fingerprint recognition transmitter to be carried by an individual in a pocket or purse. The fingerprint recognition transmitter operates to take the image of the fingerprint and formulates a fingerprint image capable of transmitting through infrared or radio frequency to a receiver having previously stored fingerprint images so as to cause a comparison between the image taken and the image stored for purposes of unlocking a security area.

James E. Davis - Lake Park FL
Assignee:
Lenzar Optics Corporation - Riviera Beach FL
International Classification:
F41G 154
US Classification:
33234
Abstract:
A boresighting instrument which comprises a muzzle end adapter having a frustro conical outer periphery adapted to be inserted into the muzzle end of a barrel threadably receiving a central shaft, a sleeve is coaxially coupled to the muzzle end adapter and extends to a radially extending member, the central shaft extends to the radially extending plate and has coupled thereto an expandable member comprising a plurality of rigid finger members equiangularly disposed about the axis of the central shaft and secured together by an elastomeric material, the fingers of the expandable member have frustro conical inner edges, an expander member is secured to the central shaft and has a frustro conical surface adapted to engage the inner edges of the fingers whereby when the central shaft is rotated in one direction on the threaded connection with the muzzle end adapter, the expander member forces the fingers radially outwardly into engagement with the inner periphery of the barrel.

Electrolysis Cell Assembly

Electrolysis Cell Assembly

US Patent:
7374645, May 20, 2008
Filed:
May 25, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/408244
Inventors:
James E. Davis - Riviera Beach FL, US
Michel van Schaik - Loxahatchee FL, US
Assignee:
Clenox, L.L.C. - Palm Beach Gardens FL
International Classification:
C25B 9/00, C25C 7/00, C25D 17/00
US Classification:
204242, 204260, 204279, 204280, 2042861
Abstract:
A compression sealable electrolysis cell that is easily and reliably manufactured, maintained and repaired comprises two insulating end pieces which can position and seal two electrode tubes with electrical contacts separated by a ceramic membrane tube where fluid can be introduced at one end piece and removed at the other end piece in the spaces between the electrode tubes and the ceramic membrane tube. The design permits the compression of the entire assembly via the fixing of nuts on one or more threaded rods extending through both end pieces without the use of an adhesive or cement and without the imposition of torque or compressive stress on the ceramic membrane tube. The water or other fluid to be electrolyzed can be introduced tangentially to spaces between the electrode tubes and the ceramic membrane tube at a angle of 0 to 15 degrees to optimize flow and contact with the electrode tubes.
