Mass Fuel Combustion System

US Patent:
6655304, Dec 2, 2003
Filed:
Nov 21, 2001
Appl. No.:
09/979694
Inventors:
James L. Barlow - Fort Collins CO
Assignee:
Barlow Projects, Inc. - Fort Collins CO
International Classification:
F23K 308
US Classification:
110347, 110204, 110205, 110268, 110328, 110165 R
Abstract:
An improved mass fuel combustion system can be designed in a variety of embodiments and alternatives, including designs which include independent gas feeds, independent gas pulsing, independently controllable vibration systems and an overall control system which can coordinate a host of parameters for optimal combustion. One design includes overlapping grate elements ( ) through which combustion gas is introduced and may include apertures to introduce a pulsed mix gas as well as a separate temperature control gas. Efficient poppet designs ( ) can be used to provide an economical and efficient combustion system.

Method And Apparatus For The Efficient Combustion Of A Mass Fuel

US Patent:
5044288, Sep 3, 1991
Filed:
Apr 13, 1990
Appl. No.:
7/508929
Inventors:
James L. Barlow - Fort Collins CO
International Classification:
F23G 500
US Classification:
110346
Abstract:
A grate assembly consisting of a means for receiving a mass fuel and combusting the mass fuel on a surface with the addition of a combustion gas, and discharging the remaining residue. A separate means for injection of a mix gas at multiple points along the surface where combustion is occurring. The mix gas enhancing combustion by aiding in the mixing, drying and migration of the mass fuel during the combustion process. Multiple injection means for the introduction of the mix gas along the surface where combustion is occurring and a means for controlling the rate of introduction of the gas at each point. Separate treatment zones also being defined along the surface where combustion is occurring and a means for introduction of combustion gas within each zone and a means for controlling the rate of introduction of combustion gas to each zone.

Complex Consolidation Of Multiple Works

US Patent:
2009026, Oct 22, 2009
Filed:
Apr 15, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/424369
Inventors:
James L. Barlow - Fort Collins CO, US
International Classification:
G06F 17/28, G06F 17/27
US Classification:
704 2, 704 9
Abstract:
Systems and methods for creating a consolidated work or article may include the consolidation of the four canonical Gospels of Luke, Matthew, John, and Mark whereby selections of original text may be compared, separated, and linked to create a new paragraph of amalgamated text, each word thereof having source indicia to identify the Gospel source resulting in a coalescent compilation of the four canonical Gospels into a single work. A coalescent compilation may include unique paragraphs and text from each of the four Gospels and may even include all of the unique text from each of the four canonical Gospels.
