Philosophy:
My philosophy is not to simply see patients get better, but to see patients get well. The goal is not to minimize symptoms, but to resolve symptoms. I want patients to say, "I feel normal." This involves not only treating symptoms, but minimizing side effects. I tell my patients, "I don't treat brains, I treat people." I want patients to experience the benefits of treatment, while minimizing or eliminating side effects. I have a PhD in Neuropharmacology which allows me to best match a particular set of symptoms to a particular treatment intervention. My aim is to individualize treatment, thus I don't generically treat a disorder, I treat the particular symptoms that a particular patient is experiencing with a particular disorder.
