Dr. Campbell is widely respected and has held many leadership positions in the medical community including serving as Chief of Cardiology at Memorial Hospital since 1999. Dr. Campbell is a founding member of the North Florida Cardiovascular Education Foundation and a past President of the First Coast Division of the American Heart Association. Dr. Campbell obtained his medical degree from The University of Florida School of Medicine and performed his Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania where he served as Chief Resident during his third year. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Campbell is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology. In addition, he is certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. As a founding member of Southern Heart Group, Dr. Campbell is part of a distinguished team of cardiovascular specialists who have been named "Northeast Florida's Best in Cardiology Care".
