As much as possible, our care is based on finding the root cause of structural conditions. One usual finding is that the patient has a causative component in the upper cervical spine, in which a vertebra at the base of the skull has been very slightly dislodged and is blocking nerved tracts to discs and muscles below. By paying very exacting attention to this area, we are often able to stop pain and weakness in the lower half of the body that has been treated directly, possibly for years.
