Philosophy:

Dr. West was born in Bunkie, Louisiana. He completed his medical studies at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. His Internal Medicine Internship and Residency were awarded through LSU - Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. After serving as an emergency room physician in New Orleans, Dr. West moved to Baton Rouge to join the Clinic in 1995. In 1996, he received his board-certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
