OFFICE 52 has been selected for a new interdiscplinary research facility at Carnegie Mellon University.
OFFICE 52 has been selected from among 17 teams overall and from among 4 finalists in a national design competition for the commission to design Carnegie Mellon University's new Nano Bio Energy Technologies Building. The new 100,000 SF building will provide essential collaborative research facilities for Biomedical Engineering, Energy Systems and Technologies, and Nano Science.
OFFICE 52 presents 'Practice Matters' at Carnegie Mellon Museum of Art
On February 4, OFFICE 52 presented 'Practice Matters,' one of the Alan H. Rider Distinguished Lectures and part of the Carnegie Mellon School of Architecture's Spring Lecture Series. Presented to a capacity audience at the Carnegie Museum of Art, the lecture highlights the backgrounds of the firm's founders, Isaac Campbell and Michelle LaFoe, their design approach, and the firm's recent competition winning design for Scott Hall at Carnegie Mellon.
