I practice both Integrative Functional Medicine (IFM) and Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. IFM is a science-based, personalized, and comprehensive lifestyle approach to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. My focus is on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of chronic diseases instead of suppressing the symptoms. I treat the body as one whole system of interconnected organs which needs to be balanced in order to achieve and maintain optimal health. I incorporate acupuncture, botanical and homeopathic medicine. I like taking the time listening to each patient's story, evaluating, and determining which are the genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that affect that person's immediate and long-term health. Then, I examine a wide array of available treatments and will customize a plan that will have the most impact on the underlying causes of your illness. Using this approach has helped many of my patients find answers to complex, chronic conditions.
