Welcome !! I am an experienced Psychologist with over 25 years commitment to the personal growth of Adults ages 18 and up. I work with individuals, couples and families. Clients seek counseling for parenting, marital, anxiety, depression, grief adjustment issues--etc. I began my practice first in Chicago and later Sarasota, Fl, before moving to our area in 2005. I am also an Assistant Professor at James Madison University in the Development of Psychology. I have always been moved and deeply appreciative of the work and progress of my clients. It takes two. Two people--myself and the client (s) to join in fostering a setting where they are able to pursue and accomplish their goals. My career as a therapist is extremely rewarding. Previous clients have advised of their sense of safety, mutual respect, and improvement in energy,outlook, positive perspective and growth while in therapy with me. I consider it an HONOR to witness their growth and eventual departure from therapy.
