I became interested in Pittsburgh real estate due to the inexpensiveness and abundance of buildings with significant historic and architectural character. I became a property manager and renovator when I bought the apartment building I lived in, a 100+ year old house that had been divided up; it continues to be a work in progress! My current neighborhood suffers from neglect, and one of my goals as an agent is to help get these homes into the hands of those who will take care of them for the next 100 years, instead of tearing them down. <br /><br />I moved here from Lafayette, Louisiana, to attend graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned my PhD in Physical Anthropology. During that time, Pittsburgh and especially the blacksmithing and arts community within it, got under my skin, and so I'm still here. <br /><br />I am not your typical real estate agent because I don't wear a lot of bling, I am happy to go into rotting buildings and can see their potential, and I am patient when explaining all the paperwork that you are going to have to sign when you either buy or sell a house. My goal for my clients is to reduce their stress by making their transactions as easy as possible. I always enjoy discussing real estate, so give me a call!
