Responsibilities:what I did daily at this job~ Retail clothing Store Management~ When The manager of the store was off or on leave, I attended to all of her duties as a manager. I ran the store from open to close, including hiring and firing, trained many employees and we occasionally had a third key. which I have also hired and fired employees, I handled scheduling when it was necessary, I handled shipping and receiving, I was very much involved in customer service, and learned alot about it at this job. I did inventory control, balanced daily paperwork,along with balancing EOM sales and EOY sales balancing paperwork. I made nightly deposits, and morning receipt pick ups. and I would keep store supplied with adequate change for store from open to close, which would be different depending on what day it was, whether it was weekends or holidays, which also played a big part in knowing how to schedule who and when.. I kept the store very clean and tidy and never asked once for someone else to do a less attractive task, that I would not do myself. During my time at this job, I learned so much about managing, the skills came very easy and fast for me to learn. I very much enjoyed this job simply by listening and following protocol.. Miss Vickie Norton was my manager and mentor and was an absolutely wonderful boss.she taught me most all
