I have always tried to practice the 'Golden Rule' in my relationship with patients, treating them as I hope I would be treated if our roles were reversed. I try to provide the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment options, focusing on finding the true underlying problem rather than just treating symptoms. I am concerned about the frequency with which patients are harmed accidentally by our medical system. Consequently, I am continually implimenting ways to improve patient safety in my office and in the operating room.
