Philosophy:
I focus on educating my patients about their problems and discussing the alternatives for addressing them. I use illustrations, props, whatever is needed to feel confident that the patient understands. The patient is given ample opportunity to ask questions. I strive to have you feel comfortable with your understanding of your problem and your options while fostering trust. I am concerned with your well being when confronting vision threatening problems as vision loss is frightening. I also look at visual function, the ability to carry out work related and daily living activities. There are often resources that can help the patient function better.
