Philosophy:
I have been licensed as a psychologist for more than 35 years. I began my career working in psychiatric hospitals for the first several years but then began working in a series of large, medical groups located in the Los Angeles area, treating referrals from primary care physicians. In 1991, I attended a lecture on pain at UCLA. The study of pain very quickly became hugely interesting to me, and I now specialize in the treatment of chronic pain (and anxiety disorders).
