Dr. Gloria Rodriguez will bring her extensive knowledge, proven leadership, years of experience, compassion and tenacity to address the issues affecting District 7. Gloria is a lifetime educator, an advocate for children, families and community development. She is the Founder and was the past President and CEO of AVANCE for 32 years. AVANCE was recognized in the New York Times, ABC World News Tonight, the White House and included in Three First Ladies books because of its proven outcomes in changing the lives of children and families and for improving high-risk communities. Gloria is a doer, a problem solver, and is known to get things done. She is confident she can do it. She did it before-- and is now asking for your support to do it again with your vote on May 14
