Compact Multifunction Perimeter And Personal Security Alarm System

Compact Multifunction Perimeter And Personal Security Alarm System

US Patent:
2014002, Jan 23, 2014
Filed:
Jul 16, 2013
Appl. No.:
13/943210
Inventors:
Glenn Bushee - Duxbury MA, US
International Classification:
G08B 13/12
US Classification:
340541
Abstract:
An alarm system includes a battery-powered base unit having an audible alarm, a switched constant on constant off light which can be used as a flashlight, and a strobed light providing a visible position indicator. The audible alarm and strobed light are activated simultaneously upon the release of a pull pin from a pair of electrical contacts within the base unit. The strobed light can be visible or infrared. A trip line can be connected to the pull pin to provide a secure line of entry or a secured enclosed area.

Compact Lighting System

Compact Lighting System

US Patent:
2013020, Aug 8, 2013
Filed:
Mar 15, 2013
Appl. No.:
13/841587
Inventors:
Glenn Bushee - Duxbury MA, US
International Classification:
F21V 15/04
US Classification:
362190, 362390, 36229601
Abstract:
A layered lighting assembly includes a circuit board having a battery, a light, a switching circuit and a push button switch selectively powering the light with the battery via the switching circuit. The circuit board is protected from vibration and impact with a relatively soft compressible foam layer provided adjacent the circuit board. A semi-rigid protective sheet of flexible plastic is layered over or layered adjacent to the circuit board to resist bending and flexing of the circuit board and thereby further protect the circuitry.

Tactical Lighting System

Tactical Lighting System

US Patent:
8152323, Apr 10, 2012
Filed:
Apr 23, 2009
Appl. No.:
12/386907
Inventors:
Glenn Bushee - Duxbury MA, US
International Classification:
A45B 3/02, F42B 8/08
US Classification:
362112, 362267, 102502
Abstract:
Portable projectable infrared lights are used to mark and illuminate dark areas such as rooms in a building or cells in a prison. The lights cannot be seen with the unaided eye but are brilliantly visible with the aid of night vision goggles and similar infrared receivers and light transducers which convert infrared light to visible light. In those cases where potentially hostile individuals are equipped with night vision apparatus, the infrared lights can be used to temporarily blind, stun and/or disorient them.

Long Life Compact Lighting System

Long Life Compact Lighting System

US Patent:
2013031, Nov 28, 2013
Filed:
Aug 2, 2013
Appl. No.:
13/957590
Inventors:
Glenn Bushee - Duxbury MA, US
International Classification:
F21V 23/04, F21V 15/04
US Classification:
362103, 362190, 362157, 362183, 362158
Abstract:
A compact lighting assembly includes a circuit board having a battery, a light, a switching circuit and a push button switch selectively powering the light with the battery via the switching circuit. The operating life of the compact lighting assembly is increased by using a rechargeable battery charged by a photovoltaic device such as a solar cell. Even greater operating life is achieved with the use of a light-actuated switch, such as a photocell or photodiode, which limits or cuts off battery draw and illumination of the light in daylight or lighted ambient conditions and enables illumination of the light in dark ambient conditions such as nighttime and low light environments.
