Abstract:
A housing for receiving and storing printed circuit boards comprises a first pair of interconnect elements at the rear of the housing and a second pair of interconnect elements at the front of the housing end. A connector backplane assembly including a plurality of printed circuit board connectors is slidably engaged with the first pair of elements. Circuit board guides are each engaged with one of the first pair and one of the second pair of interconnect elements. Side plates secured to the interconnect elements lock the guides and the backplane assembly in place.

Abstract:
A lid is secured to a housing by a lid latching handle assembly. The handle assembly includes a pair of resilient pads which are compressed against the lid when latched. A pair of locking screws with chamfered shoulders are threaded to the housing and engage a corresponding pair of chamfered holes in the handle to wedge and lock the handle in place as the screws are tightened.

Abstract:
A plastic television chassis adapted for use in combination with a cathode-ray tube within an enclosure includes a base having integral snap-together parts disposed at opposite ends thereof. A pair of side frames are attached, respectively, to the opposite ends of the base in a substantially orthogonal orientation. Each side frame has integral snap-together parts disposed adjacent a first edge thereof for mating with the snap-together parts of the base, and also has integral slidable-groove parts disposed along a second edge thereof adjacent the first edge. A panel is attached to the side frames by integral slidable-groove parts disposed along opposite sides thereof for mating, respectively, with the slidable-groove parts of the side frames.
