Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method for treating a patient suffering from inappropriate or excessive angio-genic activity comprising on administering to a patient in need of such treatment an amount of Contact Inhibitory Factor effective to treat said disease. Also disclosed herein are methods for preventing a cancer cell from metastasizing comprising administering to a patient in need of such treatment Contact Inhibitory Factor and a chemtherapeutic or immunotherapeutic agent. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical formulations for use in the methods.
