My experience in the field is as a leader and clinician. As a leader I was charged with creating and executing a strategic plan and providing business development, seeing to the expansion of out-patient services, directing all functions of Speech Language Pathology group, including several off-site facilities, and full-, part- and per Diem staff certification and supervision. Clinically, I provided direct patient care and associated documentation for both in- and out-patient clinics. I specialize in voice disorders and its assessment and treatment, and speech, swallow and voice disorders in the head and neck cancer patient. I had typical indirect responsibilities that included participation in facility meetings for interdisciplinary groups, allied services, managers and supervisors, as well as patient care rounds, and program planning and worked well in groups.
