Served on the Alabama Board of Examiners in Psychology, from 1994-2000, and as its Chair in 1997. Twice received The Alabama Psychological Association’s Award for Outstanding Service and Commitment in the Promotion of Professional Psychology. Chair of the Founding Board of the Alabama Non-Profit Eating Disorders Assistance (ALANEDA) Foundation, dedicated to the provision of effective, holistic, and affordable prevention and treatment services for eating disordered individuals and affected family members in Alabama and the region.
