Philosophy:
I'm a psychiatrist with a certification in Addiction Medicine, I provide patients with the most up-to-date medications and behavioral therapies. I am a buprenorphine prescriber(Suboxone) and am director of Addiction Medicine at Rush Medical Center. I believe in what I teach-substance use disorder should be viewed just as any other medical condition. Today, we know that this disease improves with agressive treatment. One size does not fit all. But each patient can get better with treatment.
