I earned a Master's Degree in Social Science & Pedagogical Theory & Practice, and garnered a specialist certificate in Latin America & Caribbean Studies. For the better part of a decade I was a Government and Economics teacher in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and I worked with the Center for Civic Education (a national non-profit) where I taught other professionals in Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica.As a child I remember working with my father in his workshop creating customised cabinets, but my favorite part was visiting people's homes and listening to the renovation and remodeling ideas that my father would eventually turn into reality. After working for years in what became Marfer Cabinets, Inc, I left to pursue my passion for social studies and education. Feeling satisfied with my work as an educator both locally and in Latin America I returned to my childhood love. For the past 8 years I have made the real estate and mortgage industry my home and I'm ready for more.
