Philosophy:
I was born in Greenville, Mississippi and received my medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson. My pediatric internship and residency were completed at Brooke Army Medical Center. I then served in the United States Army as a pediatrician with Kenner Army Hospital in Fort Lee, Virginia. I am board certified in pediatrics with the American Board of Pediatrics. I am also a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics, was Chief of Pediatrics at Our Lady of the Lake 1984-1986, and Chief of Pediatrics at Woman's Hospital in 1987. I have been with the Baton Rouge Clinic since 1977, and I am currently accepting new patients, newborn to 18 years of age.
