Philosophy:
Erik Heggland, MD, AAOS, ABOS is board certified in orthopaedic surgery. He specializes in surgery of the shoulder and knee and provides care for a wide array of athletic injuries, fractures, and arthritic conditions in adults. Dr. Heggland earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and his sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
