Dr. Edstrom earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA on a Regents Scholarship, an honor given to the top six incoming freshmen. In his junior year, Dr. Edstrom received the William S. Kramer award from Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Society as the #1 student in his class. He was given full membership in OKU his senior year. Dr. Edstrom completed his orthodontic training at USC, receiving a Master of Science in Craniofacial Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics.
