Magna cum laude
University of Colorado, Boulder Honors Program
Through completing a senior honors thesis, my hard work and dedication to the study of film in my paper entitled "Kim Ki-duk: The Silent Cases of The Isle, Bad Guy, and The Bow" earned me the degree award of magna cum laude. This year-long thesis project included individual topic selection, extensive research, the completion of a 35 to 100 page original research paper, and the successful defense of my given work. This process resulted in graduating with the honors distinction magna cum laude at University commencement in May 2013.
