Psychotherapy is a developmental and relational process. Dr. Ranney practices with the whole person in mind, along with their relationship systems, whether internal or external. Health requires attention to mental/emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions, therefore Dr. Ranney encourages clients to engage in holistic and self led practices across the spectrum of healing. Dr. Ranney has extensive experience in the treatment of trauma and grief, and understands the complications these experiences can pose for establishment of a sense of safety and competence in the world. She uses mindfullness practices with a view toward accessing lasting change through attention to neural processes within attachment focused relationship structures. Family members are included as appropriate and comfortable for the indivdual client.
