Abstract:
A new use of a conventional retractable dog leash apparatus () for performing self-stretching and range-of-motion physical therapy exercises wherein, the apparatus () includes a retraction mechanism () contained within a housing member () and controlled by a push button () wherein, the retraction mechanism () is connected to one end () of a leash strap () the terminal end of which () is provided with a snap clip () and a stop element () that cooperate to form an appendage surrounding loop ().
