Bob's Red Mill, Student Alliance for Integrative Medicine (SAIM)
I created a 3-minute video about the whole grain Spelt as an entry to Bob's Red Mill 2012 Intercollegiate Cup. My video was selected as the winner within the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, which qualified me for a final round live speech competition at the annual Integrative Medicine Day, a student conference organized by the group Student Alliance for Integrative Medicine. I gave a 7-minute original speech on the topic "Food As Medicine: the Promise of Whole Grains." I won the top prize for my speech and was awarded a generous $6000 scholarship from Bob's Red Mill towards my OCOM tuition.
